ABOUT THE ARTIST:
After collecting pottery for twenty years, Rosita Czekala decided to pursue pottery classes at Roswell Art Center West in 2004. After two years, she became intrigued with faces and turned her attention to hand-building. Since then, she has been making heads, either human or animal in clay.
She has recently been chosen to have her work shown in the upcoming book, 500 Figures in Clay Volume 2, Lark Books. She also recently, self-published a book about her art including her paintings and drawings, titled Selected Works by Rosita Czekala.
