No. 1 An Eye Like Nobody Else.John Tribble has an eye like nobody in the industry. John studied at Sotheby's Institute in London after completing his undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina. He has been in the interiors business for over 30 years and has traveled extensively in Europe to acquire a unique collection of furniture, accessories and original art. However, he is more than a collector, he is a master of his trade, and he is a true Southern Gentleman (with a treasure trove of eccentric stories to prove it). No. 2 Interior Designer Extraordinaire.Rebecca Fincher received her degree in Interior Design from the University of Georgia and has designed and renovated homes for clients throughout the southeast. In addition to space planning, selecting furniture and finishes, her past experience includes several years in an architectural firm, where she gained extensive knowledge of construction detail, scale and proportion. With three boys of her own, she has brilliant hints for making the flow of a kitchen or bathroom work and brings the invaluable perspective of a working mother. No. 3 We Are Not Just a Pretty Face. We've been told a walk through J. Tribble is more like a visit to the home of a very stylish friend, but all the furniture and accessories are for sale. However, beyond the showroom, J. Tribble owns a woodworking warehouse occupied by true craftsmen. With over 50 unique styles, our custom sink bases have proven to be a valuable asset for designers and homeowners looking for something truly distinctive. Our venture into custom cabinetry started with wet bars and kitchens and quickly branched out into furniture for homes and offices. We are proud to say if a customer can think of it, we can not only build it, but we can build it with extraordinary craftsmanship and quality design. No. 4 Art for Art's Sake.Aside from an impressive sampling of 19th and 20th century European paintings, J. Tribble represents at least a dozen artists from around the southeast specializing in anything from fireplaces made from river rock to photography to contemporary painting. We hold exhibitions on a regular basis to showcase the artists we represent, some of whom have been with us for over ten years and have never shown their work anywhere else. No. 5 Not Your Grandmother's Antiques.High quality English and European antiques, Art Deco furniture and accessories, hand crafted sink bases and cabinetry, traditional and contemporary art, hardware imported from Britain, African art....the list goes on and on. J. Tribble's charm lies in the variety of its collection, just as much as the quality of work and service. If you have an interest in making your home reflect your personality, as opposed to being a neutral, socially acceptable environment, then put J. Tribble high on the list of places to go. |
